ABCs of kids music - Letter B

It’s time for the next installment of The ABCs of kids music here on Crumbs.  Letter B!  Did you miss A?  You can find it here and get caught up.

B is for breakdancing, booty shaking, brilliant melodies and... blue bassoons?  (for the record, I actually studied the bassoon as one of my instruments back in the day.  But it wasn't blue.)

But the B we're talking about for this post is...
Barenaked Ladies’ Snacktime!

Although it’s another one that’s been out for quite some time, it’s still a regular on the fave list of the small (and big) people in this household.

So many wonderful tracks on this album, I can’t even tell you.  From the wacky Crazy ABCs to the rockin’ out on Allergies, there is an endless charm and silliness to this disc.  Check these letter associations:

Or how about those Allergies?  (get your tissues!)

Click here if you can't see that one, either.

I think our favourite track (meaning mine and Daddy Crumb’s) is Pollywog in a Bog.  It’s such an easy one to sing along to and has a great, relaxed groove to it.

A staple for any Canadian or other worldly (or otherworldly?!) family music collection and worth every penny.
