Ah, yes. A balanced masterpiece, light on the fromage, heavy on the salsa and cream. Although your face was quite messy after indulging in this and you did spill some (actually a lot) on the table, it was a lovely presentation, Chef Suvi. Bravo.
Ah, Chef Max. You've taken a bit more of an abstract approach here, focusing on the aspects of the meal that you love the most - cheese and sour cream. Interesting that one cannot even make out that there is ground beef or nacho chips underneath your creation. I may have to deduct points, however, for allowing the bald head to show through. Still, not bad at all.
Hmmm. Chef Finnegan. I {ahem} am not really sure what to make of this particular form. Although perhaps I see that you were trying to accomplish something far more avant-garde here. Or perhaps a minimalist approach.
Yes, that is it. The random nachos, the sparse beef sprinkles off to the side... and could it be that you were attempting a halo effect with the cheese? In any event, I may have to give this one more thought. It's good that your mother didn't have too much wine or this particular shot could have been far more blurry than it is. Still, a valiant effort for a three year old. Next time I might suggest leaving a utensil on the plate for an even more brazen display.
Yep, taco salad night.
Easy and fun meals that your kids love? Suggestions?

Can't beat boiled eggs with toast fingers.
ReplyDeleteI love me some taco salad!! Thanks to my new diet (booo), I can't eat chips anymore - so mine would be a taco meat salad. My daughter LOVES sloppy joes...and I'm sure once son is old enough he will too!
